Conscious breathing is increasingly talked about today – yet few approaches go deep from the perspective of physiotherapy, the nervous system, biochemical processes, and functional movement. This 3-hour workshop offers you a compact yet practically applicable connection between scientific knowledge, physiology, and experiential exercises.

What is this workshop about🧠?

This workshop will help you restart your relationship with your own breathing – not through superficial tips, but by understanding and sensing breath as a complex system. We will rebalance patterns that influence not only our posture but also stress responses, sleep quality, and sports performance.

What you will learn & experience💡:

How we breathe – and why it matters:

  • The difference between nasal and mouth breathing – effects on oxygenation, the nervous system, immunity, and mental stability
  • The role of tongue position, facial, and chewing muscles in supporting nasal breathing
  • Nitric oxide (NO) production as a natural vasodilator and protector of the respiratory tract

Functional breathing & the body:

  • Diaphragm, pelvic floor, and core – how they work together and what happens when they don’t
  • The connection between breathing, posture, and back, pelvic, or neck pain
  • How breathing can improve stability, coordination, and movement quality

Breath & the mind:

  • Breath as a key to the autonomic nervous system – the parasympathetic mode in practice
  • The impact of breathing on memory, emotions, metabolism, and sleep
  • Simple tools for physiological calming of the nervous system

Daily-use practices:

  • Working with exhalation, pauses, and slowing the rhythm
  • Releasing tension in the face, jaw, and chest
  • Walking breath awareness – how breath changes during walking and how to consciously connect it with movement
